1. Caring for the body
You can pamper yourself with fragrant creams, lotions, SPA treatments, massages, and visit the bath. These measures will have a beneficial effect on the skin, remove harmful substances and enrich it with vitamins.
To return the skin elasticity and lose a couple of kilograms after the New Year, take a contrast shower in the morning, and in the evening – a warm bath with 1 tbsp. l. soda and 900 g of sea salt (preferably without additives). You can also add a glass of fatty cream. Only 20 minutes of such pleasure will necessarily benefit you. Warm water with salt solution softens the epidermis, opens the pores well, improves blood circulation, saturates the skin with useful substances and causes the lymph system to work at full power.
Then comes the time of the anti-cellulite procedure. For her, we will prepare coffee scrub at home. The usual yogurt is mixed with dried, already asleep natural coffee (in proportion 1 to 3). The resulting mass passes through the body, massaging the problem areas for 10 minutes each. An alternative to this scrub is a mixture of sea or table salt and cream (also 1 to 3).
But the skin in the area of the knees, elbows, and feet I advise to lubricate with vegetable or olive oil. Preheat it to a steam bath. When the oil is absorbed, remove excess paper towel. This will help to cope with the roughness of the skin, peeling, and cracks.
2. Face: get rid of dryness
For frequent consumption of fatty foods, sweet, and also hot drinks, the skin will not exactly say thank you. The first sign of deterioration of her condition is severe dryness due to the increased level of toxins. To feed the face with all sorts of masks with various active ingredients is better after a gentle face scrub that will remove dead cells and speed up the process of moistening.
If during the whole vacation you did not have enough time to sleep and how to relax, dancing all night long, you will be helped by patches under the eyes, which, it seems, already produce all cosmetic brands, and creams for the most delicate zone of the face with avocado extract.
Also, the skin can be revived with the help of home masks from conventional and affordable products. For example, the mask of fresh cucumber juice, fat cream, and rose water is known to women for a long time – it perfectly refreshes tired skin and returns a healthy color to the face. The recipe is quite simple: 1 tbsp. l. Cucumber juice mixed with the same amount of fatty (30% or more) cream, add rose water from the pharmacy (20 drops) and whisk the mixture to foam. We put the mass on the face with a thick layer, hold it for 20 minutes and rinse it off with warm water. The face will look even better if after the procedure, wipe the skin with rose water.
3. Struggling with treacherous bags under the eyes
They can appear even after an excellent healthy sleep. What can we say about the week of drinking? Use a special cream for the eye area. Give preference to the drugs, which include caffeine, vitamins K and C – they help remove swelling and dark circles. Before applying, put the cream in the refrigerator for a while. In the end, resort to the old proven folk remedies. Chilled mugs of cucumber, tea bags, honey, ginger and aloe juice will help out in this situation.
4. Return the shine to the hair
Time of holidays – stress and for hair. Blow-dry, kilograms of fixing products – all these damages the hair. Therefore, it is necessary to do restoring and toning masks. In a water bath, melt 2 tbsp. l. honey and combine with a tablespoon of burdock oil. Apply on strands, wrap with polyethylene and wrap it with a towel. After 20 minutes, wash your hair.
Try not to use a hairdryer and a styler for a while. Instead, actively apply protective cosmetic sprays.
5. For the future: diet
Ideally, you should start taking care of your own health in advance, alternating gluten-free days with unloading. I advise you to arrange an organism rest on the day after the feast. This will help to lose from 500 to 1.5 kg of excess weight. As a rule, it’s just swelling.
Choose a fasting day for your taste: on carbohydrates, on proteins or on fats. The point is that when the food is received separately and in small portions, the body rests more and consumes energy more efficiently.
Vegetable unloading day. You should eat baked or raw vegetables, fruits, and cereals from whole grains, without oil and salt – the intestines will be cleaned and will work normally. Divide the products into six servings and take them gradually throughout the day.
Protein unloading day. Such food helps to normalize metabolic processes and stimulates the activity of substances that prevent fat accumulation in the body. Just do not buy meat: take a low-fat fish (400 g) or a bird, boil it and eat together with cabbage, raw or cooked by steaming, without salt – also six times a day.
Unloading on fats also improves metabolism and activates digestive enzymes, but do not mix fats with starchy foods. During the day you can drink five glasses of kefir (only not fat-free) and twice – for a small cup of coffee with milk without sugar.
