Employees of Liverpool University conducted a study and proved the undoubted benefit of chicken eggs for people who are dieters. People who want to lose weight should eat at least two eggs each day. And, more recently physicians have declared, that the use of eggs raises a level of cholesterol. And therefore, especially during the weight loss period, they did not recommend eating eggs.
However, a recent study of 450 medium-sized volunteers showed that in the three months of a low-calorie diet, all participants lost an average of 4.5 kilograms. The volunteers were divided into two groups. The first group used eggs, and the second group completely excluded them from their diet. At the same time, the level of cholesterol in the blood was analyzed.
Experts were surprised when they saw that the level of cholesterol in the blood decreased in all volunteers, regardless of the presence or absence of eggs in the diet. Since eggs are a valuable source of protein, important for the formation of a tight figure, eggs can be considered an indispensable product for slimming people. By the way, scientists advise paying attention not only to chicken but also to quail eggs.
